- Meeting opened by Abdul Aziz with welcome note and agenda of the meeting

2. General introductions were done and members updated their status and plans of action after the seminar
3. At 5:15 p.m. the attendees held a conference call with Nana Ooi and Fabin. Fabin shared with the group the steps to be followed when starting on the internet marketing business
• The first step that needs to be done is to do extensive market research.
• Before launching a product, understand the entire process of internet marketing in detail.
• Launch a product that will sell (market research will help you identify the right product)
• Understand the niche market
• If you have competitors, try to go into joint venture with them or try to buy their products.
• Know what your goal is.
• Be unique.
• Keep focus on value
• Differentiate your value
• Perform marketing function well and develop marketing acumen
• Go into affiliate marketing
• Finally give time
• Focus on creating ‘traffic’
4. Issues regarding payment accounts were discussed. It was noted ClickBank and PayPal do not work in the UAE. Alternatively it was suggested that the Coordination team enquire about the benefits of opening up a virtual office in Singapore.
5. It was also decided to set up a Resource Centre where people would share their resources and software purchased from the speakers in order to benefit all the members. The Resource Centre will be maintained by the Coordination Team.

ACTION - 1
THE MAJOR ACTION TAKEN DURING THIS MEETING IS TO HAVE OUR OWN COMMON WEB SITE FOR THE COMPLETE E-COMMERCE TO BE LAUNCHED OFFICIALLY AS A COMPANY AND THE 26 MEMBERS WHO ATTENDED THE MEETING ON 29TH DECEMBER WILL BE THE SHAREHOLDERS FOR THE E-COMMERCE BUSINESS VENTURE

ACTION - 2
We are going to create forum on the web so that we all communicate and post the question and suggestion or comments and we will have the resources centre where we will have all the personnel and web development books etc.


Action Plan 3 we will finalize the web site name and book the name depending on the availability and prepare the complete business plan for the projects which will be discuss in our monthly meeting which will be announce on the our blog
